When Making a Booking
When we finalise a booking with you we will clarify details of the performance to ensure that we can provide you with the show you are looking for.
The following information will allow us to ensure that our performance is tailored to your event and setting:
The Performance
- how many people will you be expected to perform for
- what type of event / venue is the performance for
- is there a guest of honour, such as a birthday guest (we can offer special attention such as dancing around them or giving a small gift during the performance)
- is audience participation to be part of the show (please note that we do not select audience members to dance, but we are happy to invite the audience to participate in a dance number)
- would you like some description of the music and dances being performed between numbers.
The Venue
- how much space is available to dance in and what is the shape of the space
- how will the audience be placed around the stage area
- what is the flooring in the dance area
- how high is the ceiling (does it allow for props such as canes)
- is there a CD player and microphone available or do we need to provide them
- is there a room available for costume changes.
The Times and Dates
- what is the approximate length of the performance
- what is the date of the performance (please note that Sunday and evening performances are preferred, but other days are possible with some notice)
- what time of day, or evening, is the performance .
The Fee
- the above factors will determine our fee, which will be set at the time of booking and will be payable at the end of the performance.
At the Performance
We will arrive at a time pre-arranged when finalising the booking, generally 15 to 30 minutes before the beginning of the performance.
Our troupe
will provide a vibrant, entertaining performance running for the agreed time, with special features of the performance as agreed at the time of booking.
Payment is appreciated following the performance, preferably to be given out of sight of the audience to preserve the mystery of the experience for them. Thank you.
